Freeza's Trophy

I've been waiting a long time to put this one up.

This was the real end to the story. Sorry to break it to you guys (actually, no I'm not). I showed this pic to Toriyama a few years ago and he was like "It SO TRUE! Thank you SO much!!!" Seriously, if I had to describe for you my top 3 favorite old drawings, I'd begin with the smile on Freeza's face.

Anyway, this was a nice old pic I had posted on Art Project X a long time ago. The pure and undeniable evil that is Freeza is what inspired me to do this, in the same vein as the Freeza Team drawing. I remember all the pieces for this one came together real well, and this is one of the last pictures I colored with a mouse. I also put the knowledge of color theory class to work in this one, making it also one of the first pieces where I knowingly applied my skills in class to something I did for fun.

And fun it was.
