So yeah, this is another of my favorite old pieces, just because I remember having so much fun doing it. I've never played Xenosaga, but I know X would whoop this chick's butt (and to my knowledge, she has a nice big round one to work with too). This battle also had some sort of chibi theme to it, hence why their proportions are well off. I didn't want the theme to play down the intensity though, and it was a great opportunity to show off X's Gaia Armor. Yes, he would own and you know it!
And for those of you who don't know, X's boots in this armor have big ol' spikes under 'em that you can only kinda see here. So yeah, she's not getting up.
Jesus h Christ. This downplay of Kos-Mos is somehow more cringier than even the dumb fanart.
- Even in just Episode 1, it's stated that her true power derives from U-Do (God)'s Waves which are shown to be able to vaporize entire galaxies and were said to be able to destroy the entire Universe.
-She can create barriers that can even protect her from said Waves.
-If she uses the Zarathustra, she can reset the entire universe then remake it in the user's image.
-She has access to the Hilbert Effect, which can affect enemies as powerful as Gnosis (which exist in the 'Imaginary Number Domain', which is a higher dimensional plane that transcends physics) and drag their reality down to our plane of existence. I has even been shown to even interfere with many high-end sensors, androids, and beings who can manipulate reality with what is known as Ethers.
Mary (KOS-MOS with blue-eyes, a kinder personality, and newer more powerful arsenals not created before), can do all of this too since she is the human incarnation of the power of Animus, which exists in the 'Imaginary Number Domain', making her spirit on par with it.
-The 'Imaginary Number Domain', which I have already stated exists in a higher plane of existence. However it is also where the human Collective Unconscious also exists, which is the existence of the mind, soul and even concepts. Everything that can only be imagined by humans exists there in dimensions far above those humanity can perceive and comprehend.
-With this Mary can wipe away and absorb multiple high-dimensional monsters, function in Kos-Mos's body even without a core battery, and transport you into a subconscious representation of your memories.
So no. You really don't know anything about what you're dealing with.
